I have been a relative caregiver to my 15 year old niece for almost two years. Her adoption should be final by March 2012 :)When talking to the caregiver of her two younger siblings, we discussed how there is so much support and help for the parents of these kids, and the kids themselves by way of therapy, parenting classes, and other services offered by CPS and DPSS, but there is nothing in place for the caregivers and foster families.
