The WVPC Caregiver Support Group will offer a time for sharing experiences, ideas, situations and frustrations one encounters in the role of caregiver. It is a “time out” for caregivers to take care of themselves while learning how to use community resources as well as more effective methods for coping with the demands of care giving. The goal of this group is to share practical, emotional and spiritual support as caregivers.

This is a group of caregivers (family members, friends...) of loved ones who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  This is a new group that formed in late 2011.  It is open to women and men who care for a spouse, parent or child sufferer of OCD.  The group's goal is to provide a respectful and safe space for mutual support, talk about ways to minimize family distress or dysfunction that often occur with OCD, and share resources about OCD management and treatment.

This group is for care providers who want to interact with others facing the same issues.  we as a group will help through the emotional turmoil of caring for parents who are transistioning.  You can relax, make friends, gain needed information from your peers or just be in a group that knows what you are facing while dealing with aging family members.  We are all about you, everyone here is an added support.
